Beyond Trauma

Post Therapy Survival Toolkit

Healing isn’t a “done and over it” thing. It’s a lifelong journey.

It’s a way of being.

I’ve been through years of therapy and, while it brought me a deep and intimate understanding of myself, I eventually had to learn how to function outside my weekly therapist visits.

What many people still don’t understand, is that trauma is an all encompassing experience. It’s not only about what’s happening in your mind, it’s a full body experience, and the body holds on to trauma until we learn to recognise it and find ways to release it.

This is why we often find that trauma responses:

  • either continue long after you’ve completed the traditional therapy process,
  • or they’re reactivated later in life, long after you think you’re “over it”.

Hi, I’m Michelle

What I wanted more than anything, after all the years of abuse, was to be witnessed. To verbalise my soul and have someone say, “I see you, and your life has been both beautiful and terrible. I see the triumph and the tragedy of your experience.”

This is what I bring to my work. A deep and resonant experience where women can re-engage with themselves through a practical, holistic approach, beginning with the nervous system, and ending in story…

I create safe spaces where we work with the breath and retrain the nervous system, shifting the trauma stored in our bodies.

I create gentle, bespoke pathways where I guide them along their healing journey.

It begins right here…

Do you experience any, or all, of the following?

  • anxiety
  • panic attacks
  • depression
  • muscle tension
  • inconsistent behaviour or thoughts
  • brain fog, spacing out or difficulty paying attention
  • feelings of inadequacy
  • forgetting important things
  • losing your words or trouble completing sentences
  • scattered thoughts and an inability to concentrate
  • intense annoyance or even anger/rage
  • disconnection from emotion
  •  “emotional rollercoaster”
  • feelings of hopelessness
  • bad dreams
  • insomnia

The defenses you’ve built up over the years are still activated.

You’ve spent time building a career, working a job, nurturing your family, focusing on your partner.

Perhaps your kids have now grown, you may be divorced, or widowed; you’re starting a new business, or changing careers.

You’re at a stage of your life where you feel there should be more, but since you’ve never focused on yourself beyond the absolute basics, you have no idea where to begin

Yes, this is me!

If you’d like to begin self regulating and learning proven techniques for grounding yourself, slowing your runaway emotions and responses, building resilience and finding safety within your body…

This toolkit is founded on my lifetime of experience dealing with my own trauma, and working with hundreds of women over the last 16 years as they navigated their own healing journeys.

what do women say?

I am part of a writing group that Michelle runs for trauma survivors. When she asked me to try the toolkit, I was unsure, but it has made all the difference.

This will now be my starting point for learning more about the way I can heal my body in order to heal my mind.

Michelle’s teachings are always from a space of personal experience and that is why she is so relatable.

This Toolkit is wonderful! I had no idea of how trauma affects the nervous system and the body. I was spinning my wheels. The toolkit has been a great starting point. I can’t wait to work with Michelle further.

Thank you Michelle,

This has been so helpful in dealing with anxiety and the all too frequent panic attacks since last year! I will use these practices daily. Thank you for all your support.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the toolkit?

You have lifetime access, for as long as I offer the toolkit. This includes access to any upgrades or changes I make to the toolkit over time.

What if I am unhappy with the toolkit?

I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 5 days and we will give you a full refund. No questions asked.

Is this toolkit therapy?

No! While using the toolkit can be healing and therapeutic, this is NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THERAPY, not should it be construed as therapy.

I’m afraid of opening up old wounds. (Ok, this isn’t a question, but it is a concern.)

You will not be revisiting your experience in any way. The toolkit is purely tools to help deal with the symptoms you may be experiencing. If at any stage you feel uncomfortable, you are advised to stop. Many women use these tools as an adjunct to therapy and discuss the benefits during therapy.

What if I have questions?

The toolkit is very easy to use and the videos are self explanatory, but should you have any questions or concerns, you are always welcome to contact me via email or direct message via Facebook or Instagram and I will respond.
